What is Wellness Coaching? It is a process which:
- Is similar to Life Coaching but with a focus on health and wellness
- Is based on the belief that you have the power and strength to make lifestyle changes and coaching guides you to make those changes
- Will help you focus on what changes make sense for you
How is this different than other ways to make lifestyle changes?
- You create a wellness vision—what your ideal level of wellness looks like which serves as your anchor
- You set the course for making changes and decide what you can attain
- Individualized tracking and feedback will help you achieve small successes
- The comprehensive focus on several aspects of wellness (fitness, diet, mental barriers) can lead to profound results
Who benefits from coaching? Anyone who:
- Is thinking about making or has recognized the need to make lifestyle changes
- Is working with a personal trainer or following a weight loss program
- Has an idea of what they need to do but don’t know how to achieve results
